Local Schools such as Newquay Tretherris, as well as Cape Cornwall, Roseland School have all used Newquay Adventure Centre. We currently run the annual Combined Cadet Force summer camp at Penhale, and have had many UOTC groups through.
Military Adventure Training, Newquay
Newquay Adventure Centre is the preferred military adventurous training provider for military groups visiting Penhale Military Training Area.
Newquay Activity Centre also provide exciting adventurous training for military units visiting or accomodated at RAF St Mawgan.
Our military clients have included the following: RAF Leeming, RAF Cosford, RAF Wittering, RAF Lyneham, RAF Benson, HQ Strike Coomand, RAF St Athan, RAF Brize Norton, Household Cavalry, Coldstream and Grenadier Guards, Scots Guards, 6 Rifles, & 7 Riflees, The Green Howards, The Staffords, The Royal Anglians, 1 Para RHA, 2 Para, 3 Para, & Para, Army Training and Recruiting Division, REME, RLC, Royal Artillary, various Ghurka units and many armed forces careers organisations. HMS Illustrious, HMS Norfolk, HMS Cumberland, HMS Ocean, HMS Sultan, HMS Drake, RNAS Culdrose, RNAS Yeovilton, 3 Commando Brigade, 40 Commando, 42 Commando, 45 Commando, CTC Lymstone, as well as many specialist units.
Whilst undertaking adventurous training with Newquay Adventure Centre these military units have been accomodated at the following military establishments:
RNAS Culdrose, as well as military groups at Okehampton Military Training Camp on Dartmoor and Tregantle Military Camp in Plymouth.
ACCOMODATION
Adventure Activities, St Agnes, Cornwall
Stay at our high grade cottage 'The Well House' based at Goonbell in St Agnes. From here many outdoor activities are available. A particular favourite is coasteering at Trevaunance Cove also known as St Agnes Beach. You will begin your St Agnes coasteering session with a safety brief and familiarisation with you coasteering equipment on St Agnes beach.
From here you will progress through the colour caves and head out on your coasteering route towards Newdowns head. Alternatively you can coasteer across from childrens rock, to star rock and on to Tevellas to try some jumps off Ganite Rock, Turtle Rock and Green Island. Whichever route you choose coasteering in St Agnes is the perfect advenealin rush for you your family and friends!

Stay at coastguard cottage and try some exciting activities with us. Coasteering across the coastline on the south coast is a great activity for all the family and there are many routes to choose from.
